Our Educational Program
Welcome to Kookaburra Kindy, a community-based preschool in the heart of Blackheath, Blue Mountains, where we’ve proudly served our local families for over 70 years. Our play-based educational program focuses on child-led learning and advocacy, integrating First Nations Indigenous perspectives and an inclusive approach to meet the diverse needs of all children. We nurture physical development through music, movement, and hands-on activities, empowering children to express themselves and grow in a supportive environment.

We are open Monday-Friday 8:30am-4.00pm
Contact us for enrolments the Kindergarten operates during the NSW School Terms and we are closed during NSW public holdiays. Contact us via email, phone or using the contact form below.
Fee schedule
Minimum 2 day per week attendance if you are claiming Fee Relief.
Our Fee schedule is as follows:
Health Care Card holders, NDIS, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Descent: $35 per day
4 year olds: $45 per day.
3 year olds: $45 per day
Annual Enrolment Fee: $60 per family
Afternoon Tea/Fruit Levy: $12 per day of attendance per term ( Attend 2 days per week equals $24 each term )
Fee Relief is available for two days attendance only, bringing the fee to $0.00.
